Peters & May wrap up another successful year of sponsorship of the Beneteau Cup

As Peters & May wrap up another successful year of sponsorship for the third edition of the Beneteau Cup, it extends its thanks to the organisers, Simpson Marine, the participants, and all stakeholders, for their involvement in such a memorable event.

19 Beneteau yachts participated in this year’s Beneteau Cup, held in Hong Kong, where sailing enthusiasts, industry leaders, and top sailors graced the waters to showcase the epitome of sailing prowess. First established just three years ago in 2021, the Beneteau Cup is now one of the most anticipated regattas in Hong Kong.

The prestigious events’ regional impact extends far beyond the competition itself. It provides a platform for individuals with shared interests to come together, nurturing a sense of community. It encourages industry collaborations, Raymarine, China Mobile Hong Kong, and ePropulsion to name few of its sponsors, and stimulates economic activity brought to the local region. More importantly, it serves as a catalyst for the growth and vibrancy of the local sailing culture – 70 percent of the crews this year were local Hong Kong sailors, a significant increase from last year.

As exclusive shipping sponsors, Peters & May’s does more than celebrate the spirit of competitive sailing. Its impact on the Beneteau Cup is multi-faceted. From ensuring the smooth transport of yachts and facilitating participation, to providing its extensive logistical expertise it has gathered over its 50 years of experience.

Its active sponsorship underscores its ongoing commitment to supporting events that not only celebrate the spirit of competitive sailing, but also champion maritime excellence and unity. As Peters & May looks forward to future collaborations, it remains dedicated to sailing into new horizons of success and shared passion.
