Sustainability · Planet Mark Certified

Green shipping for blue oceans.

Leading sustainable shipping practices with Planet Mark. Sustainability isn't a single goal — it's embedded in how we forward freight, transport yachts and move complex cargo across the world.

Our commitment

We recognise the impact our work has on the environment — so we measure, reduce and offset our carbon emissions through transparent, actionable initiatives.

As part of that ongoing journey we proudly hold the Planet Mark Business Certification — achieved for the second consecutive year as of 31 December 2024 — a recognised symbol of our dedication to sustainable business practices across the group.

Our initiatives

Practical steps, taken year on year.

Real changes across our warehouses, fleet and operations — each one lowering our footprint.

2023July
Solar-powered Dutch warehouse

Relocated our Dutch operation to a new, energy-efficient facility fitted with solar panels — cutting our carbon footprint while bringing renewable energy into the supply chain.

2024January
Electric-car & cycle-to-work schemes

Launched two UK employee schemes — low-emission vehicles and greener commuting — reducing both personal and company emissions while supporting wellbeing.

2024July
UK warehouse switched to LED

Upgraded warehouse lighting from halogen to energy-efficient LED — better illumination, significantly less energy, a lower footprint.

2024Reporting
Scope 3 reporting expanded

Extended our emissions measurement to include business travel, waste and upstream transportation — giving a fuller, more honest picture of our impact.

2025June
186 solar panels & EV chargers at the UK warehouse

Installed 186 rooftop solar panels generating clean energy for daily operations and feeding surplus back to the grid — plus six EV chargers (four 7kW, two 22kW), powered directly by the solar array.

Across our departments

Carbon-neutral courier services with CEC.

Our courier arm, Corporate Express Couriers (CEC), is part of the DHL GoGreen programme — offsetting the emissions of its transport and delivery operations through global reforestation and renewable-energy projects.

CEC continues to reduce its impact through ongoing improvements in fleet management, energy efficiency and waste reduction — so every delivery is part of a responsible supply chain.

Shifting to renewable energy sources across our offices and operational sites, building on our solar investments.

Employee engagement

Empowering our team with the knowledge and tools to embrace sustainability in every role, every day.
