Loadmaster overseeing a yacht lift
Loadmasters

The team who load your cargo.

Our loadmasters lead every loading and discharge on the ground — working with operators and stevedores worldwide, and judging when a safe lift is possible.

On the day

Your loadmaster is the person in charge when your yacht or cargo is lifted on or off the ship.

Before and during every operation, they stay in close contact with our technical department, so the loading and discharge follow the detailed plan agreed in advance.

Their experience gives them the authority to direct crews, stevedores and third parties calmly — and the confidence to stop a lift if conditions aren't right.

The role includes
  1. 01Preparing all loading and discharge equipment
  2. 02Overseeing and managing every loading and discharge
  3. 03Co-ordinating third parties, including divers and ship's crew
  4. 04Acting as your point of contact on the day
  5. 05Designing lifting gear solutions
“The loadmaster was excellent, calm and clear with a sense of humour. He understood what a nerve-wracking exercise the discharge was for us and he handled all of it (and us) very well.”
