THE IDEA – Flat Rail is an innovative new system that presents an alternative solution to break-bulk shipment. Developed by Marine Invest engineers, Flat Rail enables users to load out-of-gauge cargo up to 34 tonnes and 16.50m long on a single container base.
THE PRODUCT – A VERITAS-certified system protected by an international patent. A tested, reliable and secured product resulting from real shipping expertise.
THE PROCESS – Specially designed beams are twist-locked to the flat rack container frame. Slings can then be connected in record time to the spreader (loading device “catching” containers by their four upper ISO corners) and the OOG cargo can be loaded onboard in as little as 15 minutes instead of one hour.
