In 2013, the Peters & May team shipped Blue Sky, a 45m Feadship from Rotterdam to Hong Kong.
The 490 tonne yacht was loaded by Paul Elsom, who commented: “This was our first time using the bespoke big rig cradling system. Since then, this fully transportable system has become our largest and most versatile asset, allowing us to ship large yachts from any location on any vessel.”
Blue Sky was the first yacht to be built by a western shipyard for a client in mainland China, and boasts a helideck and dedicated Mah-jong room.
