Role Overview:
As the face of the company on the ground, our Loadmasters play a vital and hands-on role in managing the loading and discharging of cargo around the world. From securing Superyachts to coordinating entire marine shipments, no two days are the same. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, physically fit, and thrives in dynamic, international environments.
You’ll travel globally to oversee complex marine operations and act as the key liaison between ship crews, divers, and our clients on-site. The work is practical, physical, and often fast-paced – ideal for someone who enjoys a challenge and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
Main Responsibilities
Manage global load and discharge operations for yachts and marine cargo ranging from 20’ to over 200’
Prepare and maintain all lifting and securing equipment for each job
Coordinate with third parties including divers, port agents, and ship crews
Act as the primary client contact during operations, ensuring professionalism and clear communication
Uphold strict health and safety standards in potentially hazardous and high-pressure environments
Complete documentation and report on each job post-operation
Practical experience in lifting, cradling, and stowage operations
Strong working knowledge of slings, spreader beams, and lifting equipment
A hands-on, physically fit individual with a proactive approach to work
Flexibility to travel internationally, often at short notice
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Marine industry experience preferred
Desirable Qualifications (Training available for the right candidate)
Forklift Licence
Banksman & Slinger Certification
Manual Handling Certification
Working at Height Certification
Portable Appliance Use Certification
LEEA Qualification
