We are looking for a Cradle Technician & Trainee Boat Loader to join our team at Peters & May in Genoa, Italy.
This is a hands-on role combining cradle preparation and warehouse-based activity with on-site support for boat loading and marine operations. It is well suited to someone practical, organised and eager to develop within the marine logistics industry, with opportunities to gain experience working on international projects.
Prepare, assemble and maintain cradles and equipment used for yacht and marine cargo transport
Operate forklifts and assist with the movement, storage and preparation of cargo and equipment
Support boat loading and unloading operations under the guidance of experienced Loadmasters
Assist with securing, stowage and general preparation of vessels and cargo
Support loading plans, basic documentation and post-operation reporting
Travel as required to support port, vessel and project operations
Valid forklift licence
Full driving licence
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Good manual handling skills and physical fitness
Willingness and flexibility to travel
Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
