Seawork International 2018 Success

After a scorching show at Seawork International 2018 last week, Peters & May look back over this years highlights of the 3-day show.

Treated to tropical UK temperatures; the event was a brilliant success with 471 exhibitors taking to their stands. As Europe’s largest commercial marine exhibition; Seawork produced some interesting enquiries for both our Commercial and Forwarding teams.

Peters & May Sales Manager for our commercial transport division; Robert Blades gave his thoughts following the show; ‘Another great year at Seawork clearly demonstrates the strong and growing position of the market reflected in the quality of enquiries received. The Mercator Media event is a great opportunity to catch up with industry contacts. This year we also met with a number of clients to review orders for the coming months’. Robert himself attended the British Marine Commercial AGM as a committee member; enjoying the opportunity to hear industry updates and review future plans for the 2018/2019.

As a global business; specialising in bespoke logistics, we had representatives from our global freight forwarding team available to chat to exhibitors and visitors alike around how Peters & May can help with forwarding requirements. Following this year's event; Peters & May Commercial look forwards to attending future events including Seatrade Abu Dhabi.
