Seawork 2015 names Peters & May as major sponsor

Seawork, the Commercial Marine & Workboat Exhibition and Conference, has named Southampton based global boat transporter Peters & May as a headline sponsor in 2015.

Peters & May will sponsor the event’s Conference Centre which will, fittingly, be on-board MV Ocean Scene. The company will also be exhibiting at the event which takes place at the ABP Port of Southampton for three days between 16th and 18th June - stand No.C123.

A wide range of speakers from across the industry will be presenting at Seawork’s Conference Centre. These include representatives from the UK Ministry of Defence, the Maritime & Coastguard Agency, the National Oceanography Centre and companies talking on topics as diverse as hybrid systems for small craft and flood and spill defence. With plenty of space, on-board catering facilities and conveniently located within the outdoor exhibition area, visitors will find it easy to visit the various exhibition halls and pontoons between conference sessions.

Robert Blades, Global Sales and Marketing Director from Peters & May said: “Seawork is now a must-attend event for our industry and we’re extremely proud to be involved in such a high profile way. The conference programme is packed full of interesting speakers and topics – attendees are sure to come away feeling up to date with the latest industry news and inspired by lots of new ideas.”

Seawork is unique in its combination of undercover exhibition space, open air demonstrations and floating displays, all occurring in the exciting atmosphere of one of Europe’s busiest harbours. The event is set to attract over 500 exhibitors and over 7,000 visitors from all over the world to Southampton. For more information, or to register, visit: http://www.seawork.com/home.
