Peters & May head for Boot Dusseldorf

With Christmas and New Year now a distant memory for most, we look forward to starting 2019’s boat shows with Dusseldorf later this month. As a world-renowned show boasting an impressive range of yachts; Dusseldorf is set to attract over 247,000 visitors and 1,932 exhibitors this year.

Now somewhat a tradition, Peters & May will kick off the 9-day show, hosting their Caribbean Party in conjunction with Antigua Sailing Week and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Board. Starting at 4.30pm on Saturday 19th January on stand 7AF24, visitors will enjoy 5-Year-Aged Antiguan Rum teamed with Fever Tree Ginger Beer – a true Caribbean tradition. With a LIVE steel pan band creating some Caribbean sounds, we welcome visitors, partners and clients along for a taste of sunnier climes after a busy first day at the show. As the official logistics partner to Antigua Sailing Week and the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, there is a lot to celebrate at this year’s event.

Throughout the show the Peters & May stand will be manned by representatives from teams around the world. Internationally speaking, we look forward to catching up with brokers, agents and private individuals to discuss logistics options for the shipment of their yachts worldwide. Heading up the team on home turf will be Peters & May Germany. Joining them across the duration of the show will be representatives from Peters & May Carrier, UK, US, France, Spain, Italy, Asia, and recently acquired Transport Partners. CEO David Holley will also be joining, meeting with a variety of clientele at the show.

Luke Webster, Regional Manager for Peters & May Germany explains why Boot Dusseldorf is such an important show within the industry. “It’s one of the biggest boat shows in the world. Bringing together almost 250,000 visitors each year, Dusseldorf provides great networking opportunities. We meet with both private individuals and long-established partners, giving them the perfect opportunity to ask questions around our shipments, planned sailings and the ins and outs of bespoke logistics”.

We look forward to welcoming you all to stand 7AF24, where our experts will be on hand to discuss how Peters & May’s bespoke logistics solutions can be of help to you.
