Peters & May the bespoke logistics experts travelled to the sunny Principality of Monaco last week for the legendary Monaco Yacht Show. As one of the world’s biggest shows, with 125 luxury one-off superyachts on display and 580 leading companies from the yachting industry in attendance, Monaco Yacht Show was the place to be and be seen.
With members from the Peters & May Head office, Asia and Italian offices in attendance, the Monaco Yacht Show continues to be a key event in the Company’s calendar. During the four days, Peters & May with their experience and knowledge in superyacht shipping and support were able to provide information and expert advice to a variety of attendees from the shipment of a 56m superyacht to the transport and customs documentation for tenders needing to return to manufacturer for refit. It was also a great opportunity for members of the team to speak with clients and press about the exceptional year Peters & May has had so far and its plans for the future of superyacht shipping.
Group CEO Dave Holley commented “Monaco Yacht Show is a highlight in the Peters & May diary, the anticipation around the show is always high and again this year, it has not disappointed. Visiting the South of France and attending prestigious shows like this one is key for us, as it allows us to speak directly to our current and future clients.”
He continued “The Monaco Yacht Show allows people to admire and purchase extraordinary superyachts and Peters & May can provide an exceptional shipping service to match these expectations. 2017 has been a busy year so far for Peters & May following a number of excellent boat shows and we are excited to see what the remainder of the year brings”.
Richard Skinner, Peters & May’s Managing Director Middle East / Far East added “We proudly deliver a premium, bespoke logistics service through our unique knowledge – and coming to fantastic shows like Monaco Yacht Show allows us to speak directly to people who can benefit from our experience of providing an optimum solution. In addition, as always, The Monaco Yacht Show certainly lived up to expectations of being the most prestigious boat show of the year!”
