As 2018’s Boat Show season gets into full swing, Peters & May celebrate another successful show exhibiting at Cannes Yachting Festival. Famous worldwide for its film industry, last week Cannes welcomed over 50,000 visitors and 542 exhibitors from across the globe to Europe’s biggest boat show. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful weather and ‘French Spirit’ blessed the show and its visitors on the 41st anniversary of the event.
Peters & May exhibited in an international fashion with representatives from the French, Italian, Asian and UK office. Members of Peters & May’s Superyacht Business and Carrier Team also joined the show, alongside CEO David Holley. Pascal Cantaix, General Manager of Peters & May’s French office gave his thoughts on the show; ‘Cannes is always a great one for us! It brings together a real mix of customers, clients and partners. We see a diverse range of people to the stand, proof of which can be seen in the variety of enquiries received’.
Popular enquiries this year included shipments on Peters & May’s regular Transatlantic and Mediterranean Sailings; as well as some more unusual enquires transporting yachts from Asia to the Med, France to Philippines and New York to Turkey. The team at Peters & May look forward working closely with individuals in the arrangement of yacht transportation.
As Cannes came to a close last week, Peters & May began exhibiting at Southampton Boat Show with lots to look forward at this year’s event. Highlights include the presentation of the £15,000 donation raised for The Breast Unit Charity during Peters & May’s annual Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot back in June. Following this at 5pm, we welcome customers and visitors to Stand C014 for the popular Caribbean Party. With all welcome, the team look forward to seeing you there!
