10 years through time with Peters & May CEO David Holley

Peters & May are all about the journey… every single item of cargo handled is set to embark on its very own voyage be it great or small.

Peters & May look closer to home at the journey of our very own CEO, Dave Holley as he celebrates his 10-year anniversary at the company. A performance driven individual, with an honourable respect for his staff; Dave has risen to the position of CEO as one of Peters & May’s own. Knowing the company and industry inside out; it’s fair to say that he has seen it all.

You don’t get to a position of CEO for a £45m turnover, global leader in bespoke logistics without your fair share of hard work and experience. Luckily Dave has it in tonnes. Having joined Peters & May at the age of 30, Dave has worked across most of the 12 global Peters & May offices during his time with the company.

Dave set sail on his Peters & May career as the General Manager for Peters & May Middle East LLC, setting up an office in Dubai. In the coming years, he gained experience across the UK, Spanish and Middle Eastern offices in roles including Brand Development Manager. Rebranding a company Peters & May acquired; Dave was then appointed Managing Director of Peters & May USA. In 2011 he stepped into his shoes as CEO; now almost 7 years on, the company is stronger than ever!

Dave is proud of his 10-year achievement: “My time at Peters & May has flown by, I look back on the past 10 years and everything that we have achieved with great pride. It is all down to the talented and committed team here. With recent acquisitions we are in a great position, promising a bright and exciting future for my next 10 years!”

When asked about his highlights, Dave’s response… “There are simply too many! Every year the Charity Shoot is a personal highlight of mine. A cause so close to my heart; it’s great to see customers & partners out in force for the day, enjoying each other’s company and building relationships, something which I believe is key within the industry we work in”.

Of course, like any journey, Dave’s time at Peters & May has not been without obstacles that any CEO must face. Navigating rocky waters and riding the odd storm along the way, Peters & May continues to thrive and Dave’s journey as CEO runs on with some very exciting plans ahead.
