Loadmaster (Global)

As the face of the company, our Loadmasters have a demanding but rewarding role; responsible for the loading and discharge of cargo across the globe. Coordinating logistics aboard vessels; you will oversee a range of projects worldwide. Each project you undertake will offer its own unique challenge: One day you could be loading 50 yachts onto a vessel, the next discharging several Superyachts or other Marine Cargo. The nature of this role requires an individual who is flexible and comfortable working independently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing all loading / discharge operations for Yachts between 20’ to 200’.
  • Preparing all Equipment.
  • Coordinating third parties including Divers and Ship crews.
  • Client point of contact on day of loading / discharge.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety Regulations, whilst working in potentially hazardous environments.

Qualifications:

  • An understanding of Lifting, Cradling and Stowage Plans
  • Working knowledge of Lifting Equipment, Spreader Beams and Slings
  • Forklift Licence
  • Banksman & Slinger
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at Height
  • Portable Appliance Use
  • LEEA qualified
  • Appointed Person Crane Lifting

All qualifications are desirable; however, training will be available if required by the successful candidate.
