In August of 2011 Peters & May, the Global Boat Transport company appointed Aurora Global Logistics as their new partner in Australia.
Peters & May cancelled its previous agency agreement with Peters & May Australia after the owner of Peters & May Australia changed alliance and joined up with Sevenstar Yacht Transport.
We had no choice but to distance ourselves from our former agent when they informed us of their allegiance with Sevenstar Yacht Transport. By working with our competitors they were removed from our network and no longer have the benefit of dealing with our global offices and agents. Although they continue to trade under the name of Peters & May Australia they have no association with Peters & May or our network. This may seem confusing to some of our clients as it’s clear to see that P&M Australia continue to roguely leapfrog on the back of our brand to try and secure business.
“We viewed Peters & May Australia’s association with Sevenstar yacht transport as a stumbling block and that it would prevent them from being independent, that’s something we were very uncomfortable with. Our focus continues to be on offering the highest levels of service and by working with Aurora in Australia we can ensure that our clients receive turnkey solutions with class leading service levels. We remain independent of any carrier association and that allows us to offer turnkey solutions on any trade lane, on any shipping line to any destination”. says Dave Holley, CEO of the Peters & May Group.
We hope that this clarifies our setup in Australia however if you need further clarification then please contact Jason Roberts at Aurora or Robert Blades in P&M head office, their details are below.
