Change Promotes Growth For Peters & May
Peters & May is pleased to report significant growth in export volume for the first three months of 2011.
Monthly export figures for the Peters & May Group show major increases in boat exports for both the UK & USA offices during the first months of 2011. The company exported over 450 boats in March alone.
David Holley, P&M Group Chief Executive sees this growth as positive news for the marine industry and points to a number of key factors in the company’s success. Holley Says,
“as a logistics provider it is always pleasing to see an increase in export volumes and most importantly market share. Recently we have made a number of bold changes within the organisation and all eyes have been on us to see how we fair. As well as changes in our team structure we have also implemented new booking systems and value added services to keep us ahead of the competition. The growth of our business is a direct reflection of the changes and the quality of the team we have in place”.
This news is encouraging for the marine industry as a whole as it indicates a recovery in the marine manufacturers sector.
