Two recent appointments to the Peters & May team bring together vast industry experience as well as development of strategic local offices in the Mediterranean.
Jan Rydgren-Knudsen has recently been appointed as Director - Logistics for Peters & May, having already filled the role as consultant to the Peters & May Board. With his vast experience of international shipping and logistics, Jan will be focusing on several initiatives and products aimed at expanding Peters & May’s global service offerings. At the same time, Jan has taken on the role of Chairman of Air & Ocean Shipping, Chicago, in which Peters & May have recently acquired a majority shareholding. Jan has come from the Norwegian Wilh Wilhelmsen Group where he held several senior positions at head office as well as overseas, in particular Asia.
David Gomez has joined as Mediterranean Regional Managing Director - overseeing Peters & May’s activities within that region. His responsibilities include two offices in Spain - Palma and Valencia and the French office in La Ciotat. He will also focus on expanding Peters & May’s capability throughout the Mediterranean market. David was previously employed as Planning and Marketing Manager for all Balearic ports and Managing Director for Transcoma Baleares. His knowledge and experience of the area will undoubtedly increase the profile of the company throughout the Mediterranean.
