Peters & May, the world’s leading boat and yacht logistics company, has appointed Jeff Drake as Global Managing Director. As part of his responsibilities, he will also assume the role of Managing Director for Peters & May’s UK operations.

Prior to joining Peters & May, Jeff held several senior roles with CP Ships in London including Vice President of Logistics and Intermodal and with Contship Italia in Italy where we was responsible to the group’s marketing and business development activities. He was also a partner with Mercer Management Consulting advising many of the world’s leading transportation companies. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago and a BS degree from the US Merchant Marine Academy along with a third mates license. With his diverse transportation and international experience, operational experience working on commercial vessels and a keen interest in yachting, Jeff is ideally suited to this important position.

This appointment comes after a period of sustained investment and growth. Recent developments include the establishment of a new logistics operation based in the Superyacht Port of La Ciotat, near Marseille, France and a major investment in Air & Ocean Shipping, Chicago, USA. Peters & May, with a turnover of over $100 million, moves in excess 8000 boats and yachts a year and offers a full logistics service in sea freight, air freight and dangerous goods.
