| PETERS & MAY ARRANGE MASSIVE SHIPMENT OF YACHTS |

Peters & May, one of the World’s leading specialist yacht shippers has recently undertaken the loading and delivery of a complete ship load of yachts previously based in the Caribbean islands of Tortola, BVI and St. John’s, Antigua.
The MV Scheldegracht with a LOA of 169 m and in excess of 5,000 m2 on / under deck space will be arriving/has arrived (on 30th may) in Southampton with more than 50 yachts who have enjoyed their sailing season in the Caribbean.

Manager of Caribbean trade for Peters & May, Eastleigh. “With economies of scale such as this it becomes relatively cheap to ship your yacht to the sunshine, enjoy sailing in warm waters and then return for the European season”.
Yachts will now be unloaded onto the dock or direct into the water and will be reunited with their owners.
Although not the largest shipment Peters & May have managed, this is an important return for many local yachtsmen, who have not had to endure the punishing transit of the Atlantic which can take around 3-4 weeks.
