In special circumstances, yachts have to be moved rapidly by air. We are the world's No.1 at managing specialist airfreight movements. We handle the operation every step of the way, from the loading process to delivery on the dockside.

VO 70 “Pirates of the Caribbean”, Americas Cup yachts “Emirates Team New Zealand” and "GBR Challenge”, Whitbread Round the World Race yachts “Silk Cut” and “Djuce”.
BY SEA
Each year we ship more than 1000 yachts and motoryachts together with 80% of the UK's powerboat production. We have a weekly service to and from the USA, Caribbean, Europe, Baltic, Mediterranean, Far East and Middle East. We can also arrange for your yacht to be shipped to any location of your choice.
Our experienced team can arrange a bespoke service to suit your regatta or cruising programme. We work closely with high profile round the world yacht races, international regattas, race teams and sponsors.
To safeguard your yacht, we ensure that our Port Agents carry out all handling procedures to exacting standards. We have our own stock of specialised shipping cradles and an in-house team of professional Load Superintendents. And to ensure your craft is moved safely in and out of the water we offer float on and off as well as lift on and off services.
BY ROAD
Our vast experience of moving yachts and powerboats emables us to collect and deliver your craft with confidence. We ensure that all special clearances and permits for road transport are arranged in advance for a seamless delivery.
We can also arrange for your craft to be covered or shrink wrapped if required.
MASTS AND URGENT SPARES
Peters & May regularly move masts around the world by a combination of Road-Sea-Road or Road-Air-Road transport. We arrange all the necessary clearance certification and you can expect a smooth and seamless service from collection to delivery.
Movements of masts, sometimes up to 55 metres in length, require precise planning and hands on management by our staff on the ground at each location.
We can also get your sails, rigging, equipment and urgent spares delivered to your required destination, safely and on time.
CONTAINERS
We can ship your support container to your next regatta base.
Not only can we supply shipping containers and air freight containers, but we can also customise them using our own staff on site. Such containers can be finished to any level of specification from basic storeroom or workshop through to high tech air coinditioned offices.
SHIPPING CRADLES
We have the strongest cradles in the industry to ensure the safe transportation of your boat. These cradles are manufactured exclusively to our designs and high specifications.
DOCK TO DOCK SERVICE
Our one-stop service means just that. We can organise trucking of your boat for onward shipping to your chosen destination or arrange for it to be moved by experienced yacht delivery skippers. We can also undertake all the documentation preparation and act as customs broker on your behalf. We even offer marine insurance to cover your boat during transportation.
