Peters & May expands into Fort Lauderdale
New Fort Lauderdale Office opened
In response to its growing US business requirements, world leader in the provision of marine logistics, Peters & May has expanded its US operation and opened a second office in strategically placed Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This new office will support the existing US head office based in Chicago.
The office was opened in March and is being run by General Manager David Ong, who joined Peters & May USA in October last year. Supported by Operations Manager, Steve Mandarino who relocated from the Chicago office, the business will be well-placed to service the logistics requirements of the many builders, brokers, dealers and boat owners in the busy, boating area of Florida.
Dave Holley, MD of Peters & May USA sees the new office as a key milestone in the company's growth since its arrival in the US in 2007. 'With two strategic locations in the US and access to the global network of Peters & May's own offices, we are in full control of the quality of service we provide as we have our own people, equipment and resources united together. We also have access to exclusive Peters & May agencies in Asia and the Caribbean to provide US companies with a turn-key solution to their transportation needs.'
